Standing Committees

• Manage the membership process, including membership feedback;

• Coordinate the annual Founders’ Day celebration;

• Maintain the official membership database of active Association members;

• Develop and organize membership drives and programs that promote alumni involvement and membership growth;

• Recommend incentive programs and changes to dues structure and benefits to ensure growth and sustainability of the Association;

• Develop a membership category for Friends of Jack Yates that promotes the involvement of community leaders, faith-based organizations, businesses, educational institutions, and governmental officials in supporting Jack Yates High School;

• Establish a Distinguished Alumni Recognition Program that promotes alumni involvement. The Executive Committee may direct other duties as it deems appropriate.
